Tell us about your shop

A few easy questions. About three minutes. There are no wrong answers, and you can say "not sure" when you do not know.

What is your company called?

Why we ask: so your list of jobs has the right name on it.

If you work for yourself, use the name you put on invoices.

What kind of work do you do?

Why we ask: we only send you jobs in your trade, so you never waste time on the wrong ones.

Tap every one that fits. You can pick more than one.

Where do you work?

Why we ask: so we find jobs close enough that you would actually take them.

A few names is plenty. No street address needed.

Are you signed up on SAM.gov?

Why we ask: SAM.gov is the free government list of companies allowed to bid. If you are not on it yet, we will walk you through it. It is very common to not be.

You keep your own SAM.gov login. We never ask for your password.

Any licenses or special badges?

Why we ask: some jobs need a license, and some are set aside for small, veteran-owned or woman-owned shops. This helps us match you.

Nothing to list? Leave both empty and tap Next.

How big are the jobs you handle?

Why we ask: so we aim you at jobs you can really finish, not ones that are too big or too small.

A bond is a promise from an insurance company that you will finish a job. Many small shops do not have one, and that is fine.

How do we reach you?

Why we ask: we text you when a job fits. We only use this to talk about your jobs.

Last one. Anything else?

Why we ask: you know your shop best. Tell us anything we should keep in mind.
